PARCELS OF PEACE

Christmas can often be challenging for individuals and families, particularly those struggling to afford food or gifts for their loved ones. The overwhelming stress can be debilitating.

Meridan Community Church proudly partners with Parcels of Peace this Christmas, an ever-expanding Christmas Relief Hamper Initiative catering to the Sunshine Coast community.

SUPPORTING HOME WITH INCARCERATED PARENTS

Through our partnerships with Prison Chaplains, our Parcels of Peace Hampers (with age-appropriate toys) are discreetly distributed to households with a parent who is in prison.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE MARGINALISED

In addition to pantry items, grocery gift cards are also accepted (up to $50), for cold fridge-related items.

EVERY FAMILY MATTERS

With a heart and deep commitment to spreading Christmas hope and easing the burdens faced by those in need, Parcels of Peace has become a beacon of hope during the Christmas season by empowering and resourcing families with food and wrapped gifts to celebrate with one another.

Let’s come together, make a true impact, and embrace the true spirit of Christmas while bringing dignity to families that otherwise are going without this Christmas.
